Chennai: City police arrested three persons and seized 12 two-wheelers which they stole from Ayanavaram.
According to the police, an investigation was conducted by Inspector Nataraj following complaints of bikes being stolen from the locality.
On inspecting the CCTV footage available in the neighbourhood, police arrested Ganesh Kumar (26) from Aynavaram and his accomplice Sellayya (24) from Virugambakkam. The duo were staying in a lodge in the city.
Ten two-wheelers which they stole were recovered from them. The duo also did odd jobs to make ends meet.
After the police interrogated them the offenders informed police about the third accomplice. Police arrested Parthiban (35) from Tiruttani. Two bikes were seized from him. He worked as a courier delivery man and also serviced computers.
