Chennai: Tamilnadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
Sources said Purohit, who left for Delhi yesterday, called on Modi as a courtesy call. He is expected to meet Union Home Minister Ami Shah later in the day.
Sources added that he will be inviting the duo to visit Kanchipuram to have a darshan of Lord Athi Varadar.
It is also expected that he will be discussing the present scenario in the State and dismissal of IT Minister Manikandan among other things.
