Chennai: Actor Suriya and Madhavan shared the screen space together for Mani Ratnam’s Ayudha Ezhuthu. The two will come together in Madhavan’s debut directorial venture Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. It is a film based on the life and times of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. Suriya plays a character who will be engaged in interviewing the 77-year-old scientist and conversing about his life. Madhavan announced that he has brought Simran, his co-star in films like Kannathil Mutthamittal and Parthaale Paravasam to essay Nambi Narayanan’s wife in the movie. The film marked the duo coming together after a gap of 17 years. Shah Rukh Khan will enact Surya’s portions in the Hindi version of the film.
