Following reports that director Hari and Suriya had discussed the possibilities of working together again for a film said to be an action entertainer, after Singam, the latter however couldn’t proceed as he was busy with Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru and KV Anand’s Kaappaan. Speculations also surfaced that director Hari had approached many A-list actors with same script but had turned down the offer.
Now, reliable sources say that Suriya has decided to revive his project with Hari. The duo may begin shooting after completion of Soorarai Pottru. ‘Since Suriya’s previous film with Hari garnered mixed response from the audience, many producers didn’t come forward to take up this project,’ sources say. ‘That’s when Suriya decided to produce the film under his home banner 2D Entertainments. An official announcement will be made soon.’
