Chennai: Aadi Pooram was celebrated on 3 August at Sri Subramania Swamy temple, Brindavan Nagar, Adambakkam. The temple authorities had made all the arrangements for the festival.
A press release said, “In the morning, special abishekam and alankaram were done for Moolavar Sri Ganambhigai. In the evening, the deity was decorated with sandal paste and colourful bangles, which were donated by the public.”
The processional deity Sri Ganambhigai was decorated with flowers and taken out in procession during the night.
Prasadam with bangles were distributed to the public.
