Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, a student of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAUI) committed suicide inside his hostel room yesterday.
The deceased identified as 26-year-old Sandesh Newpane was a Masters student studying plant pathology. He was from Chitwan region of Nepal, and his academic report is said to be very good.
A media report said that Sandesh was found hanging from the grill of a window by another student around 1.30 am. On information, police rushed to the spot and removed the body. His parents have been informed and the police are investigating all possible angles behind the suicide.
