Chennai: Over 80 children took part in the 18th music competition (vocal) conducted by Nalaiya Sigarangal, a musical institution at Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School, Dhandapani Street, recently.
A press release said, Sarevesh Jain, KM Mithushree, PV Mahathi and Dhanashree were toppers in the age group six and 12 and Aparna, Nikhil and K Varsha bagged the top slots under the 13 to 20 years category.
Similarly, prizes were given to winners of few other categories at the venue.
Film producer, Sakthi, was the chief guest, while cine playback singer, Shanthi and music guru RK Chandra Prakash were judges for the event. Nalaiya SigarangalÂs Raman co-ordinated the programme.
