Rs 5,000 for those helping accident victims: Pondy CM

Pudhucherry: Pudhucherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy today announced that the government will give Rs 5,000 to those who admit people injured in accidents to hospitals.

He made the announcement while presenting the budget in the Assembly. He also said the relief amount for fishermen during the non fishing period will be increased to Rs 6,500 from Rs 5,500.

“Relief given to fishermen during monsoon will also be increased to Rs 3,000 from Rs 2,500,” he said.
