Chennai: Arya starrer Magamuni has been certified. The movie has managed ‘U/A’ certificate. The makers have announced that it will hit the screens 6 September.
Directed by Shanthakumar of Mounaguru fame, it is bankrolled by Studio Green. Mahima Nambiar and Indhuja play heroines. Junior Balaiyya, Jayaprakash, Arul Doss, G M Sundar and Kaali Venkat are also in the cast.
Sources say that it is a family drama with thrilling moments. With Arya’s recent movies taking a beating at the box office, he is pinning all his hopes on Magamuni.
Thaman is composing music for the film and Arun Bathmanaban has cranked the camera. National Award winning editor VJ Sabu, production designer Rambon Paulraj and action choreographer Prakash are also part of the film.
