Chennai: Ikshan Shanbag from Satara grabbed the first position yet again at the Round 2 of the fourth season of Red Bull Road to Rookies Cup held at KMS Coimbatore, recently.
Ikshan Shanbag, who had already won the first round, dominated the second round race with exuberant energy to secure No. 1position by concluding 10 laps in 10:35.841. Bangaloreās Aditi Krishnan gave tough competition and took second position with a stunning total lap time of 10:51.180. Securing the third place on the podium was Puneās Aryan Gurav completing 7 laps in 10:53.688 time.
For Race 2, while Ikshan Shanbag continued to dominate the racetrack and successfully completed with a timing 14:56.415. The second and third spot was held by Aditi Krishnan (15:20.919) and Puneās Aryan Gaurav (15:23.780) respectively after completing 9 laps.
The Red Bull Rookies Cup gives the young biking enthusiasts a chance to showcase their prowess on an international stage, between 12 and 16 years of age. The best motorcycle racer in the country will get a chance to be a part of the internationally acclaimed Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Ikshan Shanbag has now has earned the glorious opportunity to be a part of the internationally acclaimed Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

The championship is organized under the aegis of FIM and Federation of Motorsports Club of India (FMSCI), in association with Suzuki Gixxer Cup, a part of JK Tyre National Racing Championship.
