Going against its own trend, in a first, Apple live streams the launch of three new models of iPhones on YouTube tomorrow. Until recently, the tech giant had made the opportunity to view live only on its own set of gadgets and browser.

The devices can be pre-ordered on 13 September and is available to buy the following Friday 20 September.

Although Apple has not disclosed the names of the models yet, reports suggest that it could be named iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The new series is expected to replace the iPhone XS series with first-ever triple rear camera setup.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the new premium product would have the facility of reverse wireless charging equipped with bigger batteries and internal upgradation. Apart from the new additions, the devices are expected to come with the latest latest silicon and mobile processor with improved water and scratch resistance capabilities. While the existing iPhone XS and XR have A12 Bionic chips, the new variants will get A13 chip.

MacRumours has stated that the iPhoneXR successor could countinue to come with an LCD display as a cost-cutting measure while the iPhone XS and XS Max may have OLED displays.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming iPhones will look similar to the current models, they’ are e going to be made from a more shatter resistant glass that’s also matte instead of glossy. When it comes to the iPhone XR, it may be available in new colors, including lavender and green.

Concurring a part of the report, Japanese site Macotakara claims that the next iPhone XR in green and lavender colour schemes, replacing the current blue and coral options.

However, according to a CNET report, the flagship phone is expected to cost just as much as the XS variant, beginning from USD 1,000. Although it has not been official yet, experts are of this opinion.

A news report claimed that there could be no big changes in design or functions of the new batches.

“Apple is falling further behind many of its competitors when it comes to overall innovation and that is even in an era when the smartphone industry as a whole has stalled,” Technalysis analyst Bob O’Donnell told CNET.

“It is going to be hard to get people excited about the new iPhones.”
Another rumour that has been doing rounds on social media is that the company may drop 3D Touch in 2019.

As appears on MacRumors, Barclay analysts appear confident that Apple will say goodbye to the feature with the 2019 iPhone lineup. But the touch-based interface is not going to disappear completely: Apple is said to have developed a new Taptic Engine, code-named leap haptics, that will continue the evolution of the company’s Haptic Touch technology piloted in last year’s iPhone XR.
