Chennai: Vidya Mandir emerged as the champion of the Chennai leg of the Junior Super Kings tourney after it defeated Lady Andal by 90 runs, here at Guru Nanak College Ground, Sunday.
Vidya Mandir’s Vijay Priyadarsan scored an unbeaten 66 and H Rahul Ayyappan contributed 46 to guide their team to 166 for five in 20 overs. In reply, Lady Andal was bundled out for 76 in
12.5 overs as CV Achyuth took four for 14.
