Chennai: “Over 80 per cent of childhood cancer is curable and we should be partners to give each child a chance,” said Apollo Cancer Centre senior consultant pediatric hematologist, Dr Revathy Raj.
She was speaking during the Rose Day celebrations held here recently.
According to a press release, actors S J Surya, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Sathish, ‘Mime’ Gopi, Dharshan, director Parthiban Desingu and director Mohan Raja visited and interacted with the patients and gifted roses that marks the spirit of life, love and happiness.
“Each day we are inspired by the courage and optimism that our children show during their battle against cancer. We are now poised to provide not just cure but intact survival,” said Revathy.
