Chennai: Former Chennai Deputy Mayor and Rajinikanth sympathiser Karate Thyagarajan today alleged that it was DMK president M K Stalin who stalled the Superstar from becoming ‘Kingmaker’ when he posed a hurdle to the latter’s attempt to make Congress leader GK Moopanar the Prime Minister in late 1990s.
Speaking at a function organised to plant saplings as part of Rajinikanth’s birthday celebrations by South Chennai Rajini Makkal Manram (Alandur south), Thyagarajan, said, ”Rajinikanth is clear about political plans. He interacts with people from different walks of life and knows the problems faced by each district. He is ready with a road map to address all grievances.”
On Rajinikanth’s political entry, Karate Thyagarajan, said, ”By December, 2020, he will be ready with his own list of candidates. Once he floats his own political party, voting pattern will see a change in Tamilnadu”.
He added Rajini will fill the political vacuum of Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi.
Speaking about Rajinikanth’s spiritual politics, Thyagarajan, said, ”Much was spoken about spiritual politics. Today even MDMK chief Vaiko has spoken the need to cater to Hindus, who throng temples in large numbers. However Rajinikanth is close to everyone including Christians and Muslims”.
South Chennai Rajini Makkal Manram president Ravichandran and manram’s (Alandur south) secretary Sathish Kumar were also present on the occasion.
