Chennai: India’s first English pop singer-songwriter, Ananya Birla is all set to perform live on her India tour at Chennai on Sunday. The show will be held at Phoenix Marketcity. The tour announcement came coinciding with the launch of her latest single ‘Day Goes By’ – a collaboration with multi-platinum selling artist and Jamaican-American hitmaker Sean Kingston. So far, she has performed in Jaipur, Delhi, and Bengaluru during the tour.
Ananya Birla is a 25-year-old, singer and songwriter signed to the Universal Music Group India and is supported by Island Records UK. She holds the record for being the first Indian artiste with an English single to go platinum – as per the Indian Music Industry (IMI) recognised criteria for certifications.
