Chennai: Photonics Industry & Technology Development Association (PIDA) of Taiwan backed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Taiwan signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with the India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA), which is the apex industry body representing the electronics and mobile industry eco-system in India recently.
The MoU was signed by chairman – PIDA, Kenneth Tai and director and special assistant to chairman, ICEA, Bijesh Kumar Roul. According to a press release, the objective of this MOU is to promote mutual cooperation, facilitate collaborations in fields of newer technologies, exchange of experiences, initiation of reports and studies relating to innovations and applications of innovations, among others.
