Chennai: Following the success of Kaithi, Karthi plays the lead in a movie that is directed by Papanasam fame Jeetu Jospeh. A bilingual flick it has Jyothika playing a key role.
Sources say that the movie has been titled Thambi and the plans are on for a release in December.
However, there is no official confirmation from the makers yet. Bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios in association with Parallel Minds, the film will be based on a beautiful relationship between brother and sister. Nikhila Vimal will be seen playing the female lead in the film. Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph is also waiting for the release of his Hindi film.
