Chennai: Self-styled controversial godman Nithyanandha has claimed that about 40 lakh people across the globe have applied for the citizenship of Kailasa.
In a recently released video, Nithyananda said, ”I thought that my idea of Kailasa will not succeed. However, to my surprise, I am gaining more supporters now. I will definitely establish Kailasa. There will be no compromise on this.”
”I have already proved that I am innocent in all the cases filed against me in 2003. I became a leader in spirituality long ago. I do not worry about the memes that are created about me. Earlier, whenever there was a problem the media used me as a scapegoat. Now, whenever there is no problem, they turn their attention towards me,” he said.
It may be noted that Karnataka court’s deadline to the Bengaluru police to find Nithayanandha’s whereabouts ends tomorrow. Sources said that police have narrowed down on Nithayananda’s location based on the videos that he has released.
