Chennai: Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today said that there was no hidden agenda in the withdrawal of Z+ security cover of DMK president M K Stalin.

Speaking to mediapersons at the Chennai airport, he said, ”The Central government must have thought the protection was not needed now, hence it has been withdrawn. Even the Y+ security given to me by the Home Ministry has been withdrawn.’

He further said Tamilnadu tops the table in law and order. Meanwhile, the AIADMK today announced former Chief Minister M G Ramachandran’s 103th birth anniversary will be celebrated on 17 January.
