Vetrimaaran will helm a film that would feature Suriya in the lead and it would be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Reports say that it would be based on Chellapa’s acclaimed novel Vaadi Vaasal, which speaks about Jallikattu.
GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose music for Vaadi Vaasal which is likely to start rolling by the second half of this year. Before starting Vaadi Vaasal, Vetri will be commencing the shoot of his new film with Soori. Meanwhile Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru is all complete and ready for release soon.
