Chennai: Indane announced that customers can make digital payments.
According to a press release, the procedure for online payment is through booking the cylinder through IVRS, the customer would be sent a SMS on his/her registered mobile numberwith the link for paying online http://payit.cc/L1xxxxxx, which will be open for a day.
By clicking the online address, you can pay the amount as in the cash memo through multiple online payment options available (net banking, credit card, debit cards, e-wallets, etc). With this mode, you need not pay anything during the refill delivery.
The release added, if you have not used the above option, you can insist on making Digital Payment at the time of delivery by using the mPOS Machine, which is carried by the delivery staff through Credit/Debit cards, e-wallets, BHIM, UPI, Google Pay, PayTM, etc. Cash should be the least preferable option for payments, the release added.
