Chennai: The Board of Directors of Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited (CFHL) approved the financial results for the quarter and nine months period ended 31 December 2019.

According to a press release, Profit before Tax (PBT) for the nine months period ended December 2019 was Rs 1,692 crore as against Rs 1,579 crore last year registering a growth of 7 per cent. For the quarter ended December 2019, the PBT was at Rs 586 crore as against Rs 608 crore for the quarter ended December 2018.

Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd, in which the Company holds 46.5 per cent stake, disbursed Rs 23,429 crore for the nine months period ended December 2019 compared to Rs 21,558 crore in the same period of previous year, registering a growth of 9 per cent. The disbursement for the quarter ended December 2019 was at Rs 7,475 crore as against Rs 7,644 crore for the quarter ended December 2018, the release added.
