Chennai:Â As many as 36 female and 12 male super models walked the ramp during the Leather Fashion show conducted along with the India International Leather Fair at ITC Grand Chola here Sunday.
For the very first time an international brand – Clarks participated in the fashion show. Another leading domestic footwear brand and retailer – Woodlands and their sub brand Woods showcased their men’s and women’s shoes. These products were specially tailor made for the fashion show, a press release said.
Varthika Brignath Singh – Miss Universe India 2019, Tejaswini Manogna-Miss Earth 2019, Simrithi Bhatija – Miss India International 2019, Shreya Shanker- Miss India United Continents 2019, ShivanJhadav – Miss Grand India 2019, RishabhChoudhary- India Global 2019 were the six crown winning show stoppers for the evening.
The event was directed by Bhaskaran Chandra Sekhar, choreographed by Jude Felix and was supported by their crew of choreographers, light and sound teams.
“This Fashion Show, one of its kind, was open to the public. The latest expressions of the trends, styles, designs and colours in world leather fashion were showcased at the show,” said Yavar Dhala, convenor of the Fashion Show.
