Chennai: A day after the State government called off the board exams for the fifth and eighth standard students, State Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan today said that the fee collected for the exam will be returned.
He made the statement while speaking to mediapersons today. It may be noted that a government order released yesterday said, ”A GO regarding the board exams was released 13 September 2019. Feedback was received from several sections on this. After duly considering them, the government has cancelled the board exams. The usual method will be followed henceforth,” the release added.
