Samsung to expand in Tamilnadu with 1000 stores

Chennai: Leading electronic consumer electronics and smartphone brand, Samsung launched its new line of air conditioners for 2020 here.

With this product line up, Samsung is aiming to double the sales of its AC in Tamilnadu with the launch of over 1,000 stores in 2020 compared to 550 stores in the previous year. The company said it predicts growth with the support of new partners to strengthen its presence in the market.

The company has seen growth in states like Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi – NCR which are key markets, it said and added that it plans to triple service engineers base in Tamilnadu and add many more service centers to meet the demand for AC installations this year.

‘Samsung has launched its 2020 AC line-up in Tamilnadu, which is a very important market to us. We expect to double our business in Tamil Nadu in 2020. With our new range, we have ensured all those expectations are met. In addition, consumers also get Samsung’s best-in-class technology and the most trusted brand,’ said deputy general manager Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India, Ankur Kapoor in a statement.

The latest product in offering is the Wind-Free AC 2.0 with Wi-Fi capability, human detection and green R32 gas, premium triple inverter series and Eco Inverter series, first of its kind in the world, which has motion detection sensor and energy saving mode, the company claimed.

Product range includes Wind-Free 2.0, premium triple inverter series, Eco Inverter and among others. The split AC range starts at Rs 35,900 and offered up to Rs 73,990, said a press release. There is also an attractive EMI option where customers can own an AC at zero down payment and get free installation or installtion priced at Rs 499. A 10 per cent cashback on Wind Free models and 5 per cent cashback on the premium Triple Inverter Series through banks and formats are available, the press release added.
