Chennai: The Government of India, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Smart City Limited, have launched a perception survey-”Rate Your City” for residents at https://eol2019.org/citizenfeedback.

”Ever since the Smart City projects were undertaken, various developmental initiatives were carried out, including the Pedestrian Plaza at Pondy Bazaar and by participating in the above survey, people can indicate how good their city is”, said an official of Chennai Smart City Limited.

”Citizen Perception Survey is an integral component of Ease of Living Index, wherein it is envisaged to capture opinion of over two and half lakh people”.

”Residents of T Nagar may make use of this opportunity to showcase their appreciation for the various projects undertaken in the recent past and give their opinion in the above survey”, he added.

Under the Smart City project, various parks were developed in T Nagar with added facilities, apart from the Pedestrian Plaza at Pondy Bazaar.

It may be noted that several streets are up for upgradation and development in terms of both vehicular and pedestrian movement and few other projects like multi-level parking facility at Thanikachalam Road, are also on the anvil.
