Pune: FLAME University at Lavale in Pune that provides Liberal Education, is offering a one-year full-time Postgraduate Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
According to the university, it is designed for individuals and next generation family business entrepreneurs, who are highly motivated to launch high impact ventures. The applications for the July 2020 – April 2021 intake are open, with four rounds of admissions cycle ending on 17 April, 2020 and can be applied via apply.flame.edu.in
Speaking to News Today, director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Darshan Doshi, said, ‘Aspiring entrepreneurs who want to impact millions of people in India and around the world need exposure to high potential business opportunities along with the support to build a differentiated product and access to a global network.’ He added, ‘Our one year program does this and more by providing guidance from fellow entrepreneurs, investors and subject matter experts. Additionally, local startup immersions in India and an international immersion at Babson College will help programme participants build a strong international network.’

Meanwhile, an ‘High Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation’ conference was organised by the varsity. The conference had various sessions which saw innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts from different sectors brainstorm on subjects like start-up pitches, investments, building unicorns, and entrepreneurship. Panelists and speakers at the conference included Chief Mentor, FLAME University, Dr Aravind Chinchure; Vishwas Mahajan; chair entrepreneurship, FLAME University, assistant professor, entrepreneurship, FLAME University, among others.
