Chennai, Mar 2: The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, has appealed to all fellow citizens in India, to strongly condemn the violence and bloodshed and to remember communalism brings death, destruction and horror in an expanding way, as we recently witnessed in Delhi riots.
”Today, the nation is passing through the time of stress and tension and is witnessing loss of lives and destruction of properties, which are horrible and condemnable,” he said in a press release.
The Prince of Arcot urged the people, irrespective of caste, creed or religion to desist from indulging in violence and not to take the law and order in their hands, which will ruin us from the development and progress of the country. Such acts have defamed our image in the eyes of the world, he said.
The Prince of Arcot also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of those who have lost their lives and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured in the riots.
