Chennai: Vel’s maha utsav 10th year of dance and music confluence – of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus was held here recently.
Carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghunathan participated and advised the students to focus on education along with extra curricular activities for holistic development, a press release said.
The utsav included live musical concerts by 70 students, followed by dance performances by 501 children.
Asanas by the students threw light on the necessity of leading a healthy life, through regular exercise. Varna, the display of an exclusive 701 paintings attracted the audience, the release said.
