Chennai: Women should follow their dreams and ambitions. ”You all have enormous potential and you can do wonders. Trust yourselves and equip yourselves with the available resources,” said Rajalakshmi Institutions chairperson Thangam Meganathan.
As part of International Women’s Day, successful women from various fields were presented with Rajalakshmi Awards for Eminent Woman Achiever 2020 at a function held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College here recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Thangam Meganathan said, ”Women have already proved themselves in various fields and those who were honoured with Rajalakshmi Awards today were the best examples. Each one of them has a motivational story. Success is not easy. At the same time, it can be achieved with hardwork and dedication. Our goal is to empower women through emotional intelligence.”
Those who were conferred with Rajalakshmi Awards for Eminent Woman Achiever 2020 were Chief Advisor, Public Health and Engineering Department, Government of West Bengal, Dr Indira Chakravarty, Justice (Retd.) Prabha Sridevan, Scientist ”G” at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram, E V Soniya, Idol Wing DIG, Chennai, S Rajeswari, musicologist Radha Bhaskar and TNNMC Registrar Dr Ani Grace Kalaimathi, a press release said.
