Chennai: Appreciating the efforts taken by the government in fight against Coronavirus outbreak, actor-politician Rajinikanth today said the government should provide assistance to those families whose livelihood is affected because of the various measures taken to contain the disease.
In a tweet, Rajinikanth today wrote, ”The government has been taking measures to prevent spread of coronavirus. It is appreciable. But the government should provide monetary help for families whose livelihood is affected by measures taken to stop corona outbreak”.
It may be recalled that the government has ordered closing of malls, theatres, parks, gyms, zoos, amusement parks and requested people to avoid crowded place till 31 March. Schools and colleges have been shut.
