Chennai: The city police carried out a raid at a hookah parlour in Anna Salai last night and seized banned gutkha products.
According to the police, the raid took place at a club in a shopping complex in Triplicane, where 32 packets of Shisha Pot and 50 boxes of tobacco flavours were seized.
Police said the products found were illegal and banned by the government. While one accused Bala absconded, police arrested Kesavaraj (28), the manager of the club and a native of Tiruvarur.
