Covid-19 guidelines: Tamilnadu Health Minister warns travellers

Chennai: Tamilnadu Health Minister C Vijayabaskar said strict action will taken against those travellers who do not adhere to the self quarantine guidelines.

”#update: Though tracked,some of the travellers violate Govt’s strict order to #selfquarantine,thus becoming a threat for community transmission.The list of travelers is handed over to district admin & police for tracking,if anyone violates the order, legal action will be taken,” he tweeted.

It may be noted that the Health Minister has said that the corona positives in Tamilnadu clearly shows that people with travel history and travellers from abroad are victims of Covid-19. He has already requested everyone who travelled abroad during the past one month to self quarantine and report to doctor if any symptoms persists.
