Actor-doctor Sethuraman dies of cardiac arrest

Chennai: Actor and dermatologist Sethuraman, popular for playing one of the lead in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya passed away last night due to cardiac arrest.

He was running a skin clinic in Chennai for some years. Besides Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, he was part of films like Valiba Raja, Sakka Podu Podu Raja and 50/50.

Actor Vivekh expressing his condolence, tweeted, “Wt an unassuming lovable decent caring pleasant person! How healthy looking Doctor he was! My heart felt deep condolences to his family n friends. If sudden demise is a fate, then I have nothing to say on it, but hate”.

Santhanam, one of his close friend besides a co-star was completely shocked. He tweeted, “Totally shocked and depressed on the demise of my dear friend Dr.Sethu.. May his soul rest in peace”.
Actress Vishaka Singh, who played his heroine in KLTA expressed his heartfelt condolences. She tweeted, “I prayed this would be a hoax. Alas, it’s true.Ā  RIP, Sethu. So many memories from #KLTA …Such sadness and shock as I write this. May God give strength to your family.”
Actor Prasanna wrote in his social media page, “What a heartbreaking news to wake up!! Have known Dr.Sethu from his college days in Coimbatore. Such an active person n cant believe he had heart attack and he is no more. What a fragile life no!”.
Film personalities including Sathish, Aishwarya Rajesh among others condoled his demise.
