Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edppadi K Palaniswami over the phone this morning and assessed the present situation of coronavirus prevention in the State.
During the conversation, Palaniswami explained the various measures taken by the State government to prevent the spreading of the virus. Modi asked Palaniswami to implement the lockdown vigorously.
He also asked to ensure that people stay in quarantine and that all the essentials are made available without any hindrance. Palaniswami said that all these are being done effectively in the State.
