Chennai: Greater Chennai City Police Commissioner A K Viswanathan has said emergency travel passes are given
only to those who have medical emergency, death in their family and to attend already planned marriage of their close kin.
Speaking to the media, he also said that people who want to travel to other districts from Chennai should apply at the DGP office.
‘ Those who want to come to Chennai from other districts and States should apply using the [email protected]. Passes will be given after proper verification,’ he added.
