Chidambaram: At a time when there is shortage of face masks, Ragini Sri, a fifth standard student of a private school in Kothangudi Saraswathi Amma Nagar in Chidambaram, has been making masks and distributing them to the residents of her locality.
Speaking about this, Ragini said, “I felt bad when they said there was a shortage of masks due to the coronavirus outbreak. Since I was at home, I tailored 100 masks and gave them to the residents. I also requested them not to leave their houses unless and until it was absolutely necessary. I am also planning to give another 200 masks before 14 April.”
Residents of the area have appreciated the efforts of Ragini.
