Chennai: Six sales girls from Cuddalore who were working in one of the stores at Phoenix Mall in Chennai have been reportedly admitted to Chidambaram government hospital after being tested coronavirus positive.
Following this the Greater Chennai Corporation has asked people who visited the mall from 10 to 17 March to self quarantine. In case of any symptoms, they have been asked to call their local health Covid-19 authorities or contact the control room.
It may be noted that on 27 March, a 25-year-old woman, who worked at the store, tested positive for Covid-19 and is undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital, Ariyalur. On Tuesday, her co-worker, a 28-year-old man, also tested positive and is admitted to Government Medical College Hospital, Tiruvannamalai.
