Chennai: Tamilnadu government today appointed IAS officer K Balachandran as the chief of the TNPSC. He was the Principal Secretary of Commerical Taxes and Registration department.
It may be noted that the TNPSC Group I exam which was scheduled to be held on 5 April has been postponed due to the lockdown. Recenty, TNPSC was in the news after largescale malpractices came to light.
