Chennai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the IPL franchisee from Tamilnadu, has donated Rs one crore towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight corona outbreak.
Owned by India Cements, the CSK team is led by M S Dhoni. Remember following the outbreak of Corona, this year’s edition of IPL has been postponed. A few CSK players led by Dhoni who practised at Chepauk Stadium in the first week of March had to cancel it and return to their respective States.
The Chief Minister a few days ago requested philanthropists, industrymen, celebrities and people from various walks to contribute generously towards CM Relief Fund that would be used to fight the outbreak of Covid-19.
