Vijay’s Master, was supposed to hit the screens on 9 April.
However, the makers couldn’t release the film on the scheduled date, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Now, it looks like the Master team has come up with a new release date. If rumours are to be believed, the film might hit the screens on June 22, coinciding with Vijay’s birthday.
The makers are hopeful that theatres and malls will be reopened post lockdown and things will eventually get better in June.
Master is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and written by Rathnakumar and Pon Parthiban.
Master has Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Vijay Sethupathi play lead roles. Music is by Anirudh.
