Chennai: Till date 1,62,970 samples, including an all time high of 12,863 Monday, have been taken and sent for testing in Tamilnadu, of which 3,550 tested positive, 1,58,558 negative, while testing of 862 samples were under process.
The total number of persons tested till date was 1,53,489, which included 12,773 Monday of which 527 tested positive–which is 4.12 per cent. In all 2,107 suspected individuals were under treatment in isolation wards, which also doubled in the last four days from 1,035 on 30 April.
The State has 50 testing facilities–36 government labs and 14 private labs.
