Due to the corona pandemic, the shooting of Ajith’s Valimai, directed by Vinoth has been suspended temporarily.
Plans are on to resume Valimai shoot when the government lifts the lockdown. Sources now say that Valimai will be completed in quick pace and is on track for a Pongal release. The movie is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
Meanwhile Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe will hit the screens for Pongal, said producers Sun Pictures. It is directed by Siruthai Siva.
Ajith and Rajini last clashed at the box office for Pongal 2019 with Viswasam and Petta, respectively. Both the films collected Rs 200 crore and set the cash registers ringing at the box office.
