Chennai: A person who was getting treatment for Covid-19 has fled the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai.
According to reports, the man was working in Koyambedu wholesale vegetables, fruits and flowers market, one of the largest coronavirus clusters in the State.
He tested positive for Covid-19 on 12 March and was getting treatment at the GH. However, the 43-year-old was found missing from the ward at the hospital this morning. Following this, a search is on for him at Chinmaya Nagar, where his house is located, and other parts of the city.
