Chennai: The State government today granted permission with restrictions that include allowing 60 persons on the sets to resume shoot for television serials, following request from FEFSI and small screen producers.

A few days ago, the government said that the shooting should be held indoors and not more than 20 should be present.

However, serial producers and FEFSI said it was impossible to shoot with 20 people and urged the government to reconsider its decision.

Today, in a fresh order, permission was granted for 60 people. It also said that permission should be obtained to shoot in Chennai from Corporation Commissioner and other districts with respective District Collectors.
