Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is likely to meet Governor Banwarilal Purohit later today.
According to sources, during the meeting to be held at Raj Bhavan in the city, the Chief Minister will brief the Governor on Covid-19 combat measures being taken by the State government.
He is likely to be accompanied by Health Minister Dr C Vijayabaskar and senior officials. After the lockdown was announced, the Chief Minister had called on the Governor a couple of times, it may be recalled.
