Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami expressed sorrow over MLA J Anbazhagan’s death and offered his deepest condolences to his family.
In a statement, Palaniswami said he was saddened to know about Anbazhagan’s death and extended his condolences to family members and DMK members.
Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy expressed grief over MLA’s demise and said that his death was a great loss to Stalin.
“My heartfelt condolences on the demise of Shri Anbalagan #DMK leader & Member of Legislative Assembly #TamilNadu . He was a strong leader of Dravidian movement pillar of DMK. His loss is great loss personally to DMK President Shri @mkstalin. May his soul rest in peace,” he tweeted.
A staunch DMK loyalist and a good organisor, Anbazhagan was active in the party’s community outreach amid the lockdown.
