Chennai: Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) has announced its annual audited results for 2019-20.
According to a press note, the board of TPL has recommended a dividend of 15 per cent for the year 2019-20 against 10 per cent previous year.
In the last quarter of FY20, the company registered an income of Rs 263.40 crore and a gross profit of INR 3.27 crore as compared to an income of Rs 334.13 crore and a gross profit of Rs 17.04 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The lower sales was mainly due to the annual turnaround undertaken during the quarter and also there was no sales during the last week of March 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
In the year ending March 2020, the company registered a turnover of Rs 1,233.21 crore as compared to Rs 1,252.29 crore during the previous year.
