Chennai: After two Tamilnadu legislators tested positive for Covid-19 and one of them died, a State Minister has now reportedly been confirmed with coronavirus infection.

According to reports, Higher Education Minister K P Anbazhagan has been tested positive for Covid-19 and admitted to a private hospital at Manapakkam in Chennai.

Recently, a legislator of the ruling AIADMK tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to a private hospital.

Sources said AIADMK MLA K Palani, representing Sriperumbudur in the State Assembly, had tested positive.

He was the second MLA in Tamilnadu to test positive after Opposition DMK Legislator J Anbazhagan, who later succumbed to Covid-19.
