Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations today announced the Plus Two board exams results.
According to official press release, the pass per centage stood at 92.3. The pass per centage among girls was 94.80 and boys – 89.41.
A total of 8.16 lakh students appeared for the exams held in March this year. The results are available at tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in
Tiruppur (97.12 per cent), Erode (96.99) and Coimbatore (96.39) emerged as the top three districts.
As has been the practice for the last few years, the School Education Department did not release the names of the toppers.
Students can apply for copy of answer scripts, re-totaling and revaluation from their respective schools. Dates of the same will be announced later by the DGE TN. Students are advised to keep check the official website of the TN DGE for updates on the same.
It may be recalled that Tamilnadu had secured second place with 97.3 per cent pass percentage in CBSE Class XII exam results that were released on Monday.
